Britney Spears songs rebuilt as heavy metal are coming to Holy Diver on Princes Street this Saturday, 17 October, when the tribute band Britallica plays from 7.30pm to 11pm.
The band wrote to us asking for help spreading the word. Their pitch, in their own words: “Imagine Britney Spears’ biggest hits transformed into full-blown heavy metal anthems, complete with crushing guitars, thunderous drums and an energetic live performance!”

What the band says you will hear
The set runs “from Toxic to …Baby One More Time”, the band told us, and they call it “an unusual night of live music bringing together pop nostalgia and metal.”
On the Skiddle listing, which the organiser writes, the band bills itself as “the world’s first all-metal Britney Spears tribute” and promises “two crushing hours of bangers” with “power-, thrash-, glam-, and prog-metal twists on every hit” and “a full stage production that mashes pop royalty with festival-pit energy.” The “world’s first” claim is the band’s own; we have not been able to check it.
The listing names Kibbs Entertainment LTD as the promoter.
If you cannot make Saturday
Stockport is the first date on the tour list on the band’s own site, as we read it on 12 October. The next night, Sunday 18 October, they play Newcastle-under-Lyme. The nearest return after that is Manchester on Friday 12 March 2027, followed by Leeds the next day.
